The Newhouse School, in partnership with award-winning digital agency 360i, created the 360i and Newhouse Digital Advertising Alliance in early 2012. The alliance was made possible by a gift from alumnus and 360i chairman Bryan Wiener ’92.

As part of the initiative, 360i develops projects for undergraduate and graduate advertising classes, where students form mock ad agencies and compete to create winning ad campaigns. The winning team presents the project to advertising executives at 360i’s headquarters in New York City. Graduate students travel to New York City for a one-day workshop at 360i, and also work on a three-week campaign project for the agency as part of their capstone course.

In addition, several 360i fellowships are available each year to juniors, seniors and graduate students who demonstrate superior digital skills. Fellowships include a summer internship at 360i and a mentor assignment. Fellows also serve as 360i Ambassadors, visiting advertising classes to share what they learned through their internship.
