In 1968, William P. Ehling ’43, G’52, G’54, founder of the public relations department at the Newhouse School, established the Syracuse University chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).
One of the first PRSSA chapters in the country, it was re-named in Ehling’s honor in 1990, and remains active today, with over 200 members.
